Leyton Cougar is Wolf Daddy King of the Canines. If you live in New Mexico you may have heard of the Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuaryin Ramah, NM.
The Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary provides permanent lifetime sanctuary to wolves who were taken as pets and Leyton is the managing director.
Known for his incredible love, dedication and commitment to rescuing these unique animals, Leyton decided that a mobile app would be a key ingredient for raising public awareness regarding the problem with taking wolves as pets and also give people an inside, behind the scenes peek into wolf rescue.
If you’re ever out I-40 way around Grants, look for the big highway sign that says “See the Wolves” and check out The Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary. Take the tour, talk to Wolf Daddy and support wolf sanctuary and rescue and don’t forget to mention that you got the app and you heard about it here!

Project Background and Scope
Leyton Cougar understands the value of social networking and is keenly aware that everything will be mobile and that the death of the desktop is imminent. In the interest of full disclosure I’ve known Leyton for a number of years and have actively supported the Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary. I’ve also entertained a wolf occasionally in my house and had one try to take a bite out of me, but that’s another story. The purpose of the app initially was to support an initiative Leyton was taking to get a television show and as a vehicle that would allow people to follow his wolf rescue endeavors. The television show is still in the works but the app lives on and you can follow Leyton, watch his videos and support the Wolf Sanctuary by downloading the app, making a donation or buying Leytons book about his special 11 year relationship with Raven wolf.
